About
I am Dr. Mahabuba Abdulrahim. As a teaching faculty in an electrical engineering program, I have built a reputation for consistently molding students to achieve excellent results and reach new heights in their careers.I was working as a lecturer, senior lecturer, and assistant professor in the colleges and universities in India and also as an instructor and assistant professor in Dubai, for a total of 31 years of insightful academic experience. I have been imparting knowledge on various electrical/electronics/instrumentation/control engineering subjects, especially power engineering. I have hands-on exposure to engineering research, teaching, publications, and laboratory development coupled with possessing excellent academic records. Research Interests: • Electrical Power Engineering; Power System Dynamic Stability, Power System Stabilizers. • Low-frequency electromechanical oscillations, mitigation of oscillations. • Artificial intelligence techniques applied to power system dynamic stability. • Applications of Biomedical Engineering • Linear and nonlinear control theory applied to power systems. • Smart Grid Applications and Energy Storage Systems.
